The Rose Melnick Medical Museum interprets its collections through permanent and changing exhibitions that blend an interesting combination of artifacts, historic images, period advertisements, graphics, audiovisual materials, and even full-scale re-creations to highlight the development and evolution of medicine over the centuries. Exhibits discuss a number of fascinating topics that include information on medical practices and procedures, the proliferation and treatment of diseases, and developments and discoveries in science and technology. In order to capture the ever-evolving role of medicine in society, some areas of the exhibit gallery are rotated and some items are displayed on a temporary basis.
