When the President is the Patient

This exhibit, curated by the Mutter Museum of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, presents the history of presidential ailments from George Washington to Bill Clinton. Included in the exhibition are discussions of early presidential illnesses, assasinations, secrecy concerning the president's health, and medical stature of recent presidents. The exhibition also raises some critical issues about presidential medicine and the challenges presented by managing the health of "the most powerful man in the world."
