Welcome to the Rose Melnick Medical Museum. The Museum was founded in 1985 by Youngstown Radiologist Dr. John C. Melnick and was named in honor of his mother, Rose Melnick, who inspired him to pursue a life in medicine. The Museum opened to the public in October 2001. Your self-guided tour will will begin at the entrance to our 5,000 square foot exhibit gallery, which contains an interesting array of exhibits on the history of medicine.
